I recently tried a Malbec from Mendoza, and it was an absolute delight. The complexity of flavors was incredible, from rich blackberries to a hint of cocoa. I had it with a nice steak dinner and it paired perfectly.

Does anyone else find that Malbecs from Argentina tend to have this earthy finish? I'm curious if it's something unique to the region.

I've heard that Mendoza is one of the highest vineyard regions in the world, and that elevation plays a big role in the wine's flavor profile.
