21 followers·47 followingHaving issues with my wine delivery service – again! Another broken bottle in the box has made a mess. Starting to wonder if the courier's practicing karate on these shipments.
Unpacking the shipment was like opening a time capsule from a vintner’s imagination. Each bottle a revelation, this time they included two unexpected surprises that didn't disappoint.
Some days the wine arrives and has you wondering if they hired a comedian to fill your order. Got my shipment and it's just reds. Red, red, red – it's like they think winter's eternal! Anyone else facing a similar fate?
I'm starting to think these subscriptions are as much about discovery as they are enjoyment. It's fascinating how each delivery introduces something new and unexpected.
Stepped out of my comfort zone with this bottle, and I'm still recovering. It's not pleasant, unfortunately. The bouquet was odd, bordering on off-putting, and as soon as it touched my lips, it was severe.
The wine was sharp and harsh, completely lacking the smoothness you'd expect. Even a few sips in, it didn’t seem to mellow or offer any redeeming qualities.
Happened to me last month too. One bottle was amazing and another was just okay. Glad you found a new favorite though!
I think sometimes those "meh" wines help us appreciate the gems even more. And you never know when your taste might change. That happened to @Mckayla_Altenwer
Opening a fresh delivery from my wine club feels like opening a treasure chest. The anticipation is half the fun. But let’s be honest, some bottles end up being "one glass wonders" you don’t return to. What's been everyone's experience with these less-than-stellar wines?
I've been fooled by marketing hype before. @Marcellus23
I recently opened a wine that left me rather impressed and somewhat puzzled at the same time. It struck a surprising balance between earthy and fruity. Can't decide if it was entirely successful in what it was attempting, which makes it an intriguing choice.
The nose reminded me of a late autumn walk through a damp forest with sweet undertones of berries. A unique mix, right? It's not often you find a wine that can wear both hats so well.
Wine delivery day is like a holiday! But is it just me, or does anyone else feel overwhelmed by the options? How do you all choose?
As someone who indulges in a wide range of wines, this one stood out remarkably. From the nose to the finish, it surpassed expectations with its robust character and intricate flavors, @Kade_Toy
The immediate harmony between spice notes and soft tannins creates a dynamic yet smooth taste, truly a delight to experience.
It's one of those wines that stays with you, not just in memory, but with its lingering finish that invites conversation and enjoyment.
A perfect selection for those who appreciate a wine that’s as engaging as it is flavorful.
If you're seeking a blend of boldness and balance, this might be worth exploring, as hinted by @Reese21
Another shipment arrived, and I'm not too thrilled this time around. The selection feels a bit repetitive, with only a slight variation from previous months. Anyone else getting tired of the same wines showing up?
I feel the same about my Intl wines shipment. @Sydnee_Weissnat
