Exploring this wine leaves me a bit underwhelmed. Initial nose offers an overly floral bouquet with nothing grounding its presence. It's like a rookie mistake in what you'd consider a balanced wine.
On tasting, I expected to be hit by a certain roundness, alas, it fell flat with an unexpected sour finish. The complexity is sorely lacking. Maybe it needs more time to mature?
I've had similar varietals that shine with character. Thought perhaps @Elton_Schowalter

There’s this one bottle I’ve tried that truly stands apart because of its bold presence. However, as much as I enjoyed its strength, it made me wish for a bit more subtlety in its delivery.
At the end of the day though, it's undeniably a wine with personality and doesn't shy away from making a statement. That in itself is an admirable quality!

You know a wine is impressive when it makes you rethink what you knew about reds. This particular offering, suggested by @Marcellus23
From the first whiff, the aroma cascaded into an alluring dance of floral and fruit notes. The body was smooth yet complex, and the finish seemed to linger endlessly.
It's wines like these that make me truly appreciate the art behind winemaking. Who else has experienced a red like this recently? I'm curious to hear @Kole62
