There’s something slightly confounding about this wine. The scent is promising: a mix of ripe berries and that characteristic earthy undertone, but just as your expectations build, the taste doesn’t quite reach the crescendo you’d hope for.

Not to take away its merits—it does display a nice acidity and an intriguing herbal note, yet, the overall balance seems a tad off. It’s an interesting experience, to say the least.
