This wine exudes a classic elegance but lacks a bit of complexity I was hoping for. Solid base components there, yet something seems amiss.
Makes a good introduction, especially for those new to this style, but leaves aficionados wanting more.
Though it has a pleasant aroma, the finish leaves an impression that's neither here nor there. It falls into a safe category, but sometimes you hope for a bit more risk — a bit more edge.
