Tried a wine recently that didn't quite meet my expectations. It had an overly tannic edge which was hard to get past. Honestly felt like it overshadowed any potential nice notes it might have had.
I was hoping for something more subtle and complex, but this missed the mark.
Maybe I need to pair it differently or let it age longer, but as of now, can't say I'm a fan.
