One of those unforgettable evenings where a bottle just didn't do it for me. The wine was overly tannic and the fruit felt completely overshadowed.

I really wanted to enjoy it. I mean, who doesn't want to uncover a new favorite bottle? But alas, it wasn't meant to be this time. I guess we can't win them all.

It was a learning experience nonetheless, discovering what to perhaps avoid in the future.
