Tried a wine that was supposedly quite celebrated. Honestly, it didn't live up to the hype for me. The aroma was promising, but the taste profile felt underwhelming and imbalanced, lacking character. I believe a great wine should strike a chord; this one left me with a sense of incompleteness.

I’ve had much better bottles in a similar price range that packed a punch both with nose and palate. Has anyone else felt a disconnect between a wine’s reputation and actual taste?
