There's nothing like getting a new surprise in the mail, especially when it's a box of wine! Today’s haul had quite the array, including some varietals I've never even heard of before.
I'd love to know how others go about trying new wines. Do you stick to tried-and-true pairings or experiment until you find the perfect match? It’s like a culinary puzzle that I can't wait to solve.
One of the bottles had the most intricate cork sealing I've ever seen. Can anyone tell me the purpose behind such elaborate corking methods? Is it mainly for aesthetics or does it have a functional benefit?
