Have you ever tried a wine that completely changed your perspective? For me, it was a bottle of 2015 Barolo. The depth and complexity were unlike anything I've tasted before. I initially picked it up because @Leilani_Batz
The way a wine can evoke memories and emotions is astounding. This Barolo reminded me of the autumn breeze in Tuscany during harvest season, something about the aroma of earth and fruit combined. Incredible!
What about you all? Have any recommendations that blew you away? I've heard some Zin from Paso Robles can have highly unexpected flavor profiles, but haven't explored much myself. Open to suggestions!
