In this heat, I've been experimenting with chilled reds too. Some are surprisingly good when cooled a little, especially the lighter ones like gamay or pinot noir. Of course, not everyone agrees with chilling reds, but give it a try.

There's something really special about Rieslings and their versatility. They’re as great with spicy food as they are just sipping on their own. Amazing balance of acidity and sweetness, which I love.
