In the grand tapestry of wines, this one sticks out like a sore thumb, and not in a good way. The first sip promised an adventure but instead delivered a somewhat chaotic jumble of flavors that didn’t quite work together.
I had to resist making a cork popping sound when opening this wine, but imagine my surprise when that was the highlight of the experience. The bouquet promised complexity but delivered confusion.
The flavor seemed to argue with itself—a hint of berry here, a dash of harsh acidity there—leaving my palate more puzzled than pleased.
