26 followers·41 followingToday's wine delivery has me pondering whether the element of surprise is truly worth it. Have received some excellent bottles, but also some that were forgettable. What are your thoughts?
Heads up! My latest wine delivery was a mixed bag. Some real gems but also a couple I might save for cooking. Anyone else keep some wines just for culinary adventures?
Finally trying out the wines from my latest delivery. The red seems to have aged well. It's got a rich aroma and a complex taste that lingers.
Today, I popped open a bottle that’s been sitting on my shelf for a while. I was excited, perhaps too much so, in anticipation of the indulgence that awaited.
Upon first pour, the aroma hits you like a fresh bouquet - beautiful, tantalizing, yet faint. There’s something deeper lurking beneath, a promise of rich flavors that don’t entirely materialize.
Sipping on this wine gave me mixed emotions. It’s pleasant, yes, with a sweet hint upfront but quickly dissolves into a forgettable finish. I kept searching for a revelation, but it didn’t happen.

My wine arrived today and one of the bottles was cracked. Contacted customer service and hoping they'll replace it quickly.
Introduced by Patricia Pew
Persuaded by a friend's insistent nudge, I recently tasted an unfamiliar wine that turned out to be an unexpected delight! The aromas were charmingly fruity, making me intrigued to explore its depths.
As I took the first sip, the velvety texture and balanced acidity danced softly on my palate. I genuinely appreciated the subtle harmonious blend of flavors that accompanied each sip.
The complexity of this wine was clearly intended for those who enjoy a more nuanced experience, yet it didn't feel pretentious or overbearing. It certainly left a pleasant lasting impression.
It's an inviting evening — my new batch of wines arrived just in time for a relaxed night in with some classic movies. The anticipation of opening each bottle is akin to hitting play on a new film.
Got to admit, one of my favorite parts of the wine subscription is discovering the packaging and the thoughtfulness behind it. This delivery came with a really elegant presentation. Even the bottle shapes seem meticulously selected.
