Today I had the most disappointing wine experience. From the very first sip, it felt off, like it was trying too hard yet failing miserably.

The aromas were weak and confused, with no character to speak of. It was like the wine couldn't decide what it wanted to be. Such a shame.

I've had much better, even from the bargain bin wines. This one couldn't even get the basics right.

Not every wine has to be a masterpiece, but some effort in balancing flavors would have been appreciated.
